1) Bachelor of Metallurgical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Calcutta, India in 1981, First Class.

2) Master of Metallurgical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Calcutta, India in 1984, First Class.

3) PhD., in Metallurgical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India in 1994. The Title of PhD Thesis is " Preparation and Mechanical Properties of some Al Base in-situ Particle Composites".

  EXPERIENCE:

    Teaching and Research Experience on Foundry Technology and Metal Matrix Composites from June,1986 to June, 1991 as Lecturer and From July, 1991 to 9 Feb., 2005 as Assistant Professor and From 10 Feb., 2005 till date as professor  in the 'Foundry Technology Department'  of "National Institute of Foundry and forge technology", Ranchi India. Experience of guiding various Projects to students of M. Tech., B. Tech. and Advanced Diploma courses in the areas of Foundry Technology and Metal Matrix Composites.
